Feng Wang
Supramolecular Photochemistry, Smart Photofunctional Materials, Artificial Photosynthesis
Dr. Feng Wang is a full professor at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He earned his B.S. degree in Applied Chemistry from HUST and his Ph.D. from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Supervisor: Prof. Li-Zhu Wu and Prof. Chen-Ho Tung). From 2013 to 2016, he served as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Hong Kong (Supervisor: Prof. Chi-Ming Che). In 2016, Dr. Wang joined HUST to launch his independent research career. His research focuses on the design and fabrication of smart, responsive photofunctional materials, which are based on organic dyes and inorganic semiconductor nanocrystals. He is also dedicated to developing applications for these materials in various fields, including sensing, information encryption, smart wearables, biological diagnosis and treatment, and photochemical conversion.
