Cheng Wang Professor Laboratory of Functional Porous Crystal Materials
Wang Cheng, male, from Luotian, Hubei Province, born in 1981. In 2003, he graduated from the College of chemistry and Molecular Sciences of Wuhan University. He was sent to the Institute of chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences in the same year for continuous study. He was taught by researcher Zhang Deqing and academician Zhu Daoben. After graduating in 2008, he went to the Department of chemistry of Northwestern University to conduct postdoctoral research. The co-author is Professor Sir Fraser Stoddar, Nobel Prize winner of chemistry in 2016. In April 2012, he returned to China and joined the College of chemistry and Molecular Sciences, serving as a professor and doctoral supervisor. He was selected as a special professor of "Chu Tian Scholar Program" in Hubei Province in 2013, won the outstanding youth fund of Hubei Province in 2015, and the fourth batch of national "Ten Thousand Talents Program" youth talents in 2019.

The research work of our group focuses on the organic molecular based porous crystal materials, and the research objects are metal organic framework compounds and covalent organic framework compounds, focusing on the problems existing in the controllable synthesis and application.
