From May 29 to 31, 2023, the 4th International Symposium on Food Science and Nutrition Health co-sponsored by Dalian Polytechnic University, Zhejiang Gongshang University and other institutions, and hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Marine Food Processing and Safety Control and the National Marine Food Engineering and Technology Research Center, was held in Dalian, Liaoning Province. Professor Wan was invited to attend this meeting and gave a report. With the theme of "Uniting new discoveries in food science and technology, Creating a new future of nutrition and health", the conference held 26 forums, closely focusing on the frontier of basic research in food science and nutrition and health, sharing international mature experience and models based on scientific and technological innovation, jointly discussing new opportunities and challenges in the future development of food science and nutrition and health, and promoting healthy development through scientific and technological innovation.
