Dr Shi's research interest mainly focuses on the development of novel methods for carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond formation through organic tactics. Additionally, he is working on the total synthesis of functional structures and natural products, self-assembly and carbon dots based nanomaterials fabrication.
