Professor Daojian Cheng Professor, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry Mainly engaged in theoretical design, experimental verification and application research of metal alloy nanocatalysts in the chemical industry. He proposed a new catalyst design method based on "structural descriptors" and independently developed a "metal alloy nanocatalyst intelligent computational design platform", which has been successfully applied to the design of electrocatalysts, petrochemical catalysts and environmental catalysts. In recent years, he has published more than 210 SCI papers in international mainstream journals such as Nat. Catal., Nat. Energy., PNAS, ACS Catal., Adv. Energy. Mater., and international mainstream chemical journals such as Ind. Eng. Chem. Res., including 135 papers as the first or corresponding author, with a total of more than 9,000 SCI citations, an H-Index of 47, and more than 60 patents authorized or applied for. He won the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Youth Fund; was nominated for Beijing Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation and National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation; was selected as Beijing Science and Technology Star and Beijing Youth Talent Program; and won the Outstanding Youth Award at the Global Chinese Chemical Scholars Seminar.
