Bingang Mei, An associate professor at Beijing Institute of Technology. Holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA. The main research directions include research on the characteristics of intelligent power system electric drive composite power sources (supercapacitors, metal ion capacitors batteries), cross scale theoretical design of supercapacitors, and research on electrochemical energy storage and thermal stability and environmental adaptability of power devices.Undertaken projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Beijing Municipality, and the National Defense Basic Enhancement Project. Received the AESA-Energies Global Young Scholars Award in Applied Energy. Published 6 articles in top SCI journals and received the Best Paper Award at the World Electric Vehicle Conference. Serves as a reviewer for international journals, including ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer.
