Yunzi Luo Professor Frontier Science Center for Synthetic Biology and Key Laboratory of Systems Bioengineering
PI of Center for frontier science of synthetic biology, Tianjin University. Prof. Luo graduated from Tianjin University with a bachelor's degree in 2008 and a doctor's degree from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2014. From June 2014 to March 2015, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute for Genomic Biology, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. From 2015 to 2019, she was a researcher in the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, Sichuan University. Since 2019, she has been a professor in School of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University. In 2016, she was selected as one of the National Talent program. At present, she is a member of the Synthetic Biology Committee of the Chinese Society of Bioengineering, a member of the Young Scholars Working Committee of the Chinese Biochemical Industry, and a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Bioengineering Association.
