Jingshan Luo Luo Research Group at Nankai University
Jingshan Luo is a full professor and vice director of Office for International Affairs and the Institute of Photoelectronic Thin-Film Devices and Technology at Nankai University. He obtained his B.Sc degree from Jilin University in 2010 and his Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University in 2014. Following this, he conducted postdoctoral research with Professor Michael Grätzel at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). In 2018, he joined Nankai University as a full professor. Luo has authored/coauthored over 140 peer-reviewed publications in Science, Nature Energy, and other journals in the field, which have amassed more than 27,000 citations, resulting in an H-index of 70. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and honors, including the MIT Technology Review TR35 in China, recognition as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics, and the Excellent Young Scholar Fund from the National Science Foundation of China. His primary research interests include solar water splitting, CO2 reduction, and perovskite solar cells. Currently, he serves as the associate editor of Chemical Physics Reviews and as an advisory board member for several journals.
