Yanjun Li Professor Novel material design, nanomedical applications, biomass conversion and biomass plastics
Li Yanjun, PhD, is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Nanjing Forestry University, and deputy director of the Bamboo Engineering Technology Research Center of the State Forestry Administration. He is a national candidate of the New Century Hundred Million Talents Project, a young and middle-aged science and technology innovation leader of the National Ministry of Science and Technology, a talent introduced by the "High-level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Introduction Plan" of Jiangsu Province, a young and middle-aged leader of the second level of the "333 High-level Talents Training Project" of Jiangsu Province. He is also the leader of the excellent science and technology innovation team of Jiangsu Province "Bamboo wood efficient processing and utilization", the first level trainer of "New Century 151 Talent Project" of Zhejiang Province, the leader of young and middle-aged disciplines in higher education institutions of Zhejiang Province, and the expert who enjoys the special allowance of the State Council. He is currently the executive director of the Timber Industry Branch of the Chinese Forestry Society and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Forestry Engineering and the Journal of Bamboo.
