On the morning of June 7, all members of our group attended the academic presentation by Academician Li Can of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, titled "Green Hydrogen Energy and Liquid Sunlight Methanol: A Strategic Path to Achieve the Goal of Double Carbon," held in the Chemistry Building. 

Later, during the face-to-face exchange meeting between young teachers and academician Li Can in Conference Room 206, Professor Liu Xianxiang reported to Academician Li Can on our group's research progress and the challenges we face in converting biomass furfural using non-precious metal catalysts. Academician Li Can fully affirmed our research in non-precious metal catalysis and provided detailed guidance for our group's future development.
