National Outstanding Youth Recipient and Humboldt Scholar, Germany. 2003 B.S. degree from Jilin University, 2003-2009 M.S. degree from Jilin University, Ph.D. degree from Jilin University. 2007-2009 joint training at UC Davis, U.S.A. 2010-2014 Humboldt Scholar and post-doctoral fellowship at the Max-Planck-Institut, Germany. 2014 joined Nanjing University of Science and Technology as a professor. He joined Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a researcher in 2023.

The group has made a series of advances in interfacial structure stability, adsorption selectivity, chemical reaction activity, etc., and successfully constructed a universal theoretical bridge connecting the microstructure and macroscopic properties of materials.
