In recent years, the teaching has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Second Prize for Excellent Achievements in Education and Teaching of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry, the Second Prize for Outstanding Graduate Mentors in Hebei Province, the First Prize in the Hebei University of Science and Technology Lecture Plan Competition, the Second Prize in the Fifth“A competition for young teachers”at the College of Science and Technology, the Second Prize in the Second University Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition, and Outstanding Guidance for the Hebei Province Sixth and Seventh College Students' Chemical Design Competitions, as well as the title of Outstanding Undergraduate Instructor in 2018 and 2020.
As a mentor, I have guided students in three provincial-level college student innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and for three consecutive years, I have led undergraduates to achieve 3 national awards and 6 provincial and ministerial awards in the National College Students' Chemical Design Competition, with a historic breakthrough of winning the first prize nationwide in 2023. As a master's degree supervisor, I have guided students to win one outstanding master's thesis at the provincial level.
I have participated in multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and presided over several projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Hebei Province. As the first and corresponding author, I have published 35 research papers in journals such as Advances Science, Advanced Materials, Science Bulletin, Applied Surface Science, Electrochimica Acta, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Nanoscale, Chemical Communications, and Science China Chemistry, and have been granted seven national invention patents.
My main research focuses on the assembly of molecular aggregates and ordered structures, as well as their photophysical and photochemical processes, with a particular interest in the construction of functional low-dimensional organic materials and the study of their nanophotonic properties. Additionally, I am engaged in research on the application of covalent organic frameworks as non-noble metal catalysts in the electrocatalytic and photocatalytic overall water splitting.
