Liu Hong Associate professor Cosmetic Innovation Center, Jiangnan University
Dr. Liu Hong graduated from Nanjing University of Science and Technology as a Master of Science in 2009. With the financial support of Japanese Government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, MEXT) Students Scholarship, he obtained the doctoral degree from School of Science, Osaka University in 2012. After that, he moved to the group of Naotoshi Nakashima in Kyushu University and group of Kenichiro Itami in Nagoya University as a postdoctoral staff. From September 2016 on, he became an associate professor in Cosmetic Innovation Center, School of Chemical & Material Engineering, Jiangnan University. His academical interests lie at the bio-application of carbon nanomaterials and synthesis of novel oral antibacterial products. Dr. Hong has published more than 30 SCI papers, 7 patents granted and received 5 scientific foundations including the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He also serves as the member of National Standardization Technical Committee for Oral Care Product, Scientific Consultant of Jiangsu Province and Emergency Disposal Expert for Environmental Protection Agency of Wuxi City.
