My research interests focus on the environmental behaviors and ecological impacts of anthropogenic contaminants and natural organic matters in hydrosphere. My study fields include: (1) Apparent characteristics, molecular composition, structural activity, source process, multimedia difference, phase transformation, and energy drive of natural organic matter in hydrosphere; (2) Environmental monitoring, sources appointment, partitioning behaviors, and ecological risks of trace persistent toxic pollutants (polybrominated diphenyl ethers and heavy metals) in the hydrosphere; (3) The interactions between natural organic matter and persistent toxic pollutants in the hydrosphere and their response to human-environmental interaction; (4) Development and application of indicators and software for assessing environmental fate and ecological risks of toxic substances, and software for analyzing molecular characteristics and ecological indicators of natural organic matter.
