Guangying Tan Professor college of chemistry, sichuan university
G. Tan was born and raised in Sichaun, China. In June 2014, he earned a B.S. in chemistry from Sichuan University. With the interest in organic chemistry, he joined Prof. Jingsong You's group at Sichuan University, mainly working on C-H activation, and obtained the Ph.D. degree in June 2019. G. Tan then joined Glorius lab as a postdoctoral fellow at Muenster University where his research focused on the energy-transfer enabled difunctionalization of alkenes or heteroarenes. In January 2023, G. Tan joined Sichuan University as a professor and Principal Investigator. His research interests mainly include photochemistry, electrochemistry, and organic functional materials etc.
