Fang Pan, Distinguished Professor of Soochow University, Professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Basic Medicine and Biological Science, Gusu Youth Leader, and Doctor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Jiangsu Province. Through the development of mass spectrometry methodology, intelligent big data algorithm, glycobiology function research and other interdisciplinary advantages, our group has solved the technical bottleneck in the field of glycoproteome research, and discovered the important function of protein glycosylation in neurodegenerative diseases. In the past five years, he has published 7 research papers in journals such as Nature Communications (2 papers), Science Advances (1 paper), Analytical Chemistry (2 papers) as the first or co-author, including 1 highly cited paper. Hosted the Youth Fund of National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Open Project Fund of the Key Laboratory of Sugar Complex of the Ministry of Health of Fudan University (2016-2017). He was awarded Manfred Eigen Scholarship of Max Planck Institute and National Scholarship for doctoral students.
