研究方向

1.水溶性高分子的生物医学应用

以天然水溶性高分子、化学改性天然聚合物以及合成聚合物等材料为基础,包括探索高分子的流变性、成胶性、稳定性、生物相容性等各项性质,从原理、制备、应用等角度综合考量水溶性高分子在生物医学领域的应用价值;

2.生物材料表面修饰

从实际生产生活出发,采用“点击化学”、“层层自组装”等手段对各类生物材料表面进行修饰,赋予材料表面新的功能以更好地适应生产生活的需要。包括对水凝胶类柔性材料(如隐形眼镜)的表面修饰以提高其亲水保湿与抗蛋白吸附的能力,以及利用高分子聚合物对刚性材料(硅片、玻璃、聚氯乙烯、不锈钢、聚氨酯)的表面修饰以提高其表面的亲水与抗菌能力;

3.水凝胶/柔性组织工程支架

利用具有良好生物相容性的高分子材料制备功能化水凝胶,并以此为基底构建柔性组织工程支架,利用水凝胶的三维多孔结构为细胞的生长繁殖提供必要的环境,进而为体内组织器官的修复提供新思路、新途径;

4.基因载体

利用聚乙烯胺等高分子材料作为基因载体运输到宿主细胞中,令该基因能够在宿主细胞中进行高效的复制和表达,进而在保证细胞原有正常活性的基础上赋予宿主细胞特定的功能。
