The objectives of my research are: (a) to discover novel fungal natural product according to the epigenetic regulation or simulate competitive natural environment approaches. (b) to construct and assemble the BGCs of drug-like compounds, transform them into advanced production strains of A. nidulans and express the intact SM pathways in these strains for novel small molecules. (c) to improve the pharmaceutical properties of identified or known bioactive molecules by using enzymes.
