Professor Yang Jinfei graduated from Nankai University with a Ph.D. degree. He joined Nantong University as a lecturer in July 2017, and was promoted to associate professor in October 2018. In August 2019, he joined the research group of Professor Arun K. Ghosh of Purdue University for postdoctoral research. Two years later, he entered the Rehabilitation University and started independent research. Professor Yang's research group is mainly engaged in multidisciplinary research, and the research field involves the intersection of artificial intelligence, chemistry, biology and medicine. The main research interests are the use of artificial intelligence and chemical means to design and synthesize targeted drug molecules, and to study the molecular activity and molecular mechanism of targeted drugs in combination with biomedicine. At present, Professor Yang has published 11 SCI papers in authoritative journals such as Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Chemical Communications, etc.; he has applied for 12 invention patents, 3 of which have been authorized. He also serves on the editorial boards of international and domestic journals such as Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology.
