1. Application conditions: 

the team focuses on how to reduce CO₂ from the root and how to convert existing CO₂ into high-value fuel. Now it is recruiting 2-3 postdoctoral researchers all the world. The specific requirements are as follows:

1) background in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials, environment and physics or theoretical calculation (DFT), machine learning and skilled operation of scanning electrochemical microscope (SECM) are preferred;

2) Have strong scientific research innovation ability and team spirit, and have achieved remarkable scientific research results; 

3) The age limit can be relaxed for those who are less than 35 years old and have received a doctor's degree for no more than 3 years;

4) Working place: Central South University; Proposed entry time: before December 2022.

2. Research directions:

electrocatalytic room temperature/high temperature CO₂ reduction, electrocatalytic biomass oxidation, solid oxide fuel cell or electrolytic cell (SOFC/SOEC), electrochemical seawater resource extraction, theoretical calculation (DFT) and machine learning, etc.

those with scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) operation skills are preferred.

3. Salary: Shenzhen University (ordinary) post doctoral, comprehensive annual salary:

About 365000 yuan/year; Especially outstanding, during the post doctoral period, the research group provided funds to the University of Alberta, Canada, to exchange and work for one year.

1) Shenzhen treatment: 180000 yuan/year tax-free living allowance, 2 years in total;

2) Treatment of Shenzhen University: the comprehensive annual salary before tax is 163000 yuan/year (basic salary + housing subsidy + tutor subsidy + meal expenses + five insurances and one fund); 

3) Excellent postdoctoral fellows of Shenzhen University (who have published 3 papers in the second district or above as the first author before entering the station) can receive an additional allowance of 2000 yuan/month for a total of 2 years;

4) Qualified post doctors can apply for professional and technical qualification (associate researcher);

5) Outstanding postdoctoral students who meet the school's policies can apply for the post of teacher (assistant professor or Associate Professor) of Shenzhen University;

6) Postdoctoral students can apply for scientific research projects at all levels as principals during their stay in the station;

7)  After entering the station, you can choose to settle in Shenzhen voluntarily;

8) Shenzhen city will grant 300000 yuan to post doctoral candidates for scientific research investment or early start-up expenses;

9) If the outbound postdoctoral meets the requirements of reserve level talents in Shenzhen (obtaining one of the conditions of national youth fund, China Postdoctoral fund, or working in Shenzhen for 5 years), they can apply for a housing subsidy of 1.6 million yuan;

10) Overseas doctors studying in Shenzhen can obtain 1.6-2 million housing subsidies and 3-5 million scientific research start-up funds from Shenzhen peacock plan;

11) In case of any adjustment to the post doctoral funding policy, the latest document shall prevail;
