Liu Shuo was born and raised in Anyang City, Henan Province, China. He received a master's degree in engineering from Zhengzhou University. Then, in 2022, he entered Central South University to study for a doctorate. From September 2022, he joined the team of Professor Liu Su Biao. In the future, his research will focus on the reduction of carbon dioxide at high temperature and the reduction of carbon dioxide through solid oxide electrolyzers.
