Tong Zhang was born and raised in Zhumadian, Henan, China. He received his bachelor of Engineering degree from Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Then he entered Central South  University in 2021 to obtain a master’s degree. From September 2021, he joined Professor Dr. Subiao Liu's group. In the future his research will focus on carbon dioxide reduction at  room temperature.
