3D/4D Printing/Multifunctional Polymer Materials /Shape Morphing Structures
Dr. Liang Yue received his B.Eng degree from the College of Polymer Science and Engineering at Sichuan University, and his M.S and PhD degrees from the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. He then worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Case Western Reserve University and Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2024, he joined the Smart Manufacturing Thrust at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) as an Assistant Professor and established the Intelligent Polymer and Manufacturing Laboratory. Dr. Yue has published 40 research articles in prestigious journals such as Nature Communications, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, and JMPS, and has contributed to 3 book chapters, authored 8 US patents. he is on the youth editorial board of the International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing and serves as a reviewer for many prestigious journals, including Nature Review Bioengineering, Advanced Functional Materials, and Macromolecules.
