Kai Wang PI Soft Lattice Advanced Mechanics (SLAM) lab
Dr. Kai Wang is an independent principle investigator (PI) at Huanjiang Laboratory and School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Zhejiang University, under the "Hundred Talents Program". He has been recognized as a national high-level young talent (2023) and one of TR35 (Asia-Pacific) by MIT Technology Review in 2023. He obtained his Ph.D. from the polymer engineering at the University of Akron, conducted postdoctoral research at Virginia Tech and served as a research assistant professor (PI) at Penn State. Currently, his research focuses on the intersection of mechanics, soft lattice optoelectronic materials, and bio-information intelligent sensing.
