Dr. Bu Yunfei, a professor and doctoral supervisor, holds the title of Jiangsu Province Distinguished Professor and is a member of the Fuel Cell Committee of the China Energy Research Association. He pursued his academic journey at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015 and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher and assistant researcher at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in South Korea from 2016 to 2018. In September 2018, he joined Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) as a Young Professor and was promoted to a full professor in July 2019. In 2020, he established the UNIST-NUIST Energy and Environment Joint Laboratory (UNNU). Dr. Bu Yunfei’s research focuses on fuel cells, electrolyzers, electrocatalysis, and carbon dioxide reduction. He has published over 100 SCI papers in these fields, including 55 first-authored or corresponding-authored papers (27 of which have impact factors exceeding 10) in renowned international journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Angewandte, ACS Catalysis, ACS Nano, and others. He also serves as a peer reviewer for prestigious international journals and has received awards for best presentations and conference chairing at both international and domestic academic conferences. He has been the principal investigator for various research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects, Jiangsu Provincial Youth Natural Science Foundation projects, and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation projects. In 2020, he was honored with the Young Energy Science and Technology Award by the Jiangsu Energy Research Association.
