1）植物资源化学：以秦巴山区和黄土高原特种植物资源作为研究对象，进行其活性成分的提取、分离、结构鉴定和活性测定工作。
2）真菌化学：以药用植物内生真菌为研究对象，从其发酵物中分离出活性化合物，并对其结构进行鉴定。
2．有机合成化学
以来自天然界的活性化合物为目标分子，对其进行设计合成，并研究其构效关系。
