Chaoyue Zhang, male, Han nationality, from Rizhao, Shandong Province. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from School of Science, Lanzhou University of Technology in Jun. 2018, and entered School of Physical Science & Technology, LZU via NPEE in Sept. of that year, to pursue a Master in material science and engineering (MSE) under supervision of Prof. Jinyuan Zhou. From Sept. 2020, he continued to pursue a Ph.D. in MSE under supervision of Prof. Zhou. He was jointly trained at the Catalan Energy Institute from 2021.10-2023.10 under supervision of Prof. Andreu Cabot. His current research area is design of spin catalysis, materials’ selective catalysis, with eight works published at the journals of J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Edit., Adv. Funct. Mater., Chem. Eng. J., J. Mater. Chem. A, Energy Storage Mater., eScience,  respectively. And he received his Ph.D. degree  in  MSE in June 2024.
