On 28th February, the internationally renowned journal Adv. Synth. Catal. published online a review paper written by the undergraduate students of the group's strong foundation class, Xutong Ye, Xixiang Yu, and Rui Deng of Chemistry Strong Foundation Class of Year 21, which summarises the research progress of the catalytic synthesis of block-transfer isomers by the atypical Friedel-Crafts reaction. This review paper, independently completed by the three undergraduates in more than one year, was highly evaluated by three reviewers (top 5%), and finally selected by the editorial board as a Very Important Publication (VIP) paper and included in Hot Topic: Organocatalysis.
