Songnan Zhang Group, Tiangong University

Songnan Zhang, Male, got his Ph. D Degree at Soochow University (2014.9-2019.6) and PhD joint training at University of Pennsylvania (2017.11-2019.2). Now, he is an associate professor, doctoral supervisor at Tiangong University. He is a member of International Society of Bionic Engineering, senior member of China Textile Engineering Society, and Special Science and Technology Commissioner of Tianjin Enterprise. In 2019, he was employed by the School of Textile Science and Engineering of Tiangong University to engage in teaching and research work, and was selected to the Third Level of Tianjin "131" Innovative Talent Training Project and "Youth Talent Support Plan" in Tianjin Colleges and Universities. Currently, he has published 35 academic papers in Chemical Engineering Journal, Small, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Journal of Cleaner Production, Chemical Communications, Advanced Optical Materials etc. with H-factor of 19, which has been cited more than 2400 times in total. He has applied for 16 Chinese invention patents (3 patents granted) and hosted/participated in 8 projects, including China Postdoctoral Foundation Project, Textile Vision Basic Research Program, Shandong Provincial Key Research and Development Program (Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Project), Postgraduate Research & Practice Innovation Program of Jiangsu Province and Enterprise Research Programs. He has got the honors such as National Scholarship (Ph.D candidate) and Outstanding Student Leader of Jiangsu Province (Graduate Student). He has become the young editorial board member of Journal of Bionic Engineering and Journal of Basic Sciences Journal of Textile Universities, editorial board member of Physical Chemistry and Chemical Physics, and the Topics Board Editors of Materials. He is the reviewer in Nature Communications, Matter, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Cleaner Production, Applied Surface Science, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, ACS Applied Engineering Materials, International Journal of Science Hydrogen Energy, Cell Reports Physical Science, Textile Research Journal and more than 20 international journals.
