Chen Jiaolong was born in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province in 1997. He graduated from Nanjing senior high school in 2015 and was admitted to the Department of materials and chemical engineering, Soochow University in the same year, where his major was Applied Chemistry. During his sophomore year, he joined Professor Xu’s research group to participate in the research of diazo compounds. During the summer, he collaborated with classmates to visit more than thirty pharmacies in the urban areas of Suzhou and investigated the local situation o expired drug recovery. During the college, he won the National Encouragement Scholarship, the Second Prize Scholarship of the undergraduate first-level group in the Jiangsu Advanced Mathematics Competition and other awards. In his spare time, he often does some physical exercises, such as jogging, playing badminton, mountaineering and so on. In 2019, he obtained bachelor's degree as Outstanding Graduates and was recommended to Shanghai Jiaotong University.
