Dr. Pan Li obtained the bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry in 2011 and the master's degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics in 2013 at Northeastern University in China. He then moved to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he conducted the research on developing light-controlled polymerization technique to synthesize polypeptides with different topologies under the supervision of Prof. Chang-Ming Dong. He was awarded the Ph.D. degree in March 2018.
So far, Dr. Li has published three first-author papers in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Macro Lett., Polym. Chem. and Acta Polym. Sin.. He joined our research group in May 2018 as a postdoctoral research fellow. He has an easy-going and co-operative personality. NBA playoffs are his favorite shows, and he is a fan of Stephen Curry.
