2024年5月19-21日，国际土壤科学联合会百年庆典大会（Centennial Celebration and Congress of the International Union of Soil Sciences）在意大利佛罗伦萨举办。会议共设置94个分会场，来自全球70多个国家和地区的1400多位土壤学科技工作者参加会议。课题组高晓丹副教授和徐英德博士等参加会议。

高晓丹副教授以“Co-aggregation of soil mineral and organic colloids under different ph conditions”为题在Soil organic matter transformation, stabilization and storage分会场作报告，该研究通过解析纳米微米尺度土壤矿物和有机胶体相互作用系统揭示了土壤有机无机复合体形成过程和土壤有机碳长期稳定的化学机理。徐英德博士以“The Status and Improving Patterns of Cultivated Land Quality in Black Soil Region of China”为题在Black Soils: their importance for Food Security and Carbon Neutrality分会场作报告，该研究以我国东北黑土地利用现状与存在的挑战为突破口，系统展示了课题组在黑土地耕地质量评价、主要旱田土壤有机碳动态与提升潜力、土壤有机碳转化及形成机理方面的研究工作，并介绍了不同类型黑土地精准化保护利用策略。此外，徐英德博士以 “Differential accumulation patterns of microbial necromass induced by maize root vs. shoot residue addition in agricultural black soils”为主题进行了墙报展示。
