2021年11月，熊克才盖艳丽课题组在Inorganic Chemistry上发表题为“Sodalite Cd66-Cage-Based Metal–Organic Framework Constructed by Cd9 and Cd5 Metal–Organic Clusters”的研究论文。该工作为开发了一例基于高核金属有机簇单元的金属有机框架，为（放射性）碘吸附提供了有益的借鉴。

An unprecedented sodalite Cd₆₆-cage based metal-organic framework constructed by Cd₉ and Cd₅ metal-organic clusters (MOCs) is reported. It could uptake iodine in a kinetically fast chemisorption process. To the best our knowledge, it represents the first Cd-cage based MOF that contains the highest nuclear Cd-based MOC and the largest number of Cd²⁺ ions in a cage.
