Dr. Zhen Wang joined X-lab as a postdoctoral fellow in 2024. He obtained his PhD in Silicon Photonics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focusing on silicon-based waveguide mode multiplexing, coherent optical communications, and optical phased arrays. Driven by his interest in advancing optical communication technologies, Dr. Wang's research encompasses low-power, high-integration, high-performance optical coherent communication systems, as well as the development of integrated photonic circuits. Currently, his research focuses on expanding the performance of optical phased arrays (OPA), particularly in applications such as LiDAR systems.
