Dr. Xiao Yu joined X-lab as an research assistant professor in 2024. He obtained his PhD in Nano Optics in 2024 at ICB, Université de Bourgogne as a Marie-Curie Fellow. Driven by his passion for photonic computing in AI, Xiao's research encompasses plasmonic devices, single-photon emitters, linear photonic circuits, and photonic neuromorphic computing. Currently, his research focus on the foundational building blocks, architecture, and applications of MZI based photonic neural networks.
