Congratulations! Dr. Shunji Xie obtained “ACS Catalysis Award for Early Career Researcher”
The “ACS Catalysis Award for Early Career Researcher” is for the senior PhD students and researchers who gained the PhD degree within 5 years. Only 6 senior PhD students and 9 researchers were elected by the academic committee depending both on the recent research achievements and oral presentation in the symposium from the worldwide applicants.
Dr. Xie gave an oral presentation on “Visible light-driven C−H activation and C−C coupling of methanol into ethylene glycol” in the symposium (2018 International Symposium focusing on Advancement and Prospect of Catalysis Science & Technology, Sydney, Australia). In view of his excellent contributions to the field of catalysis as a young researcher, Dr. Xie was awarded the “ACS Catalysis Award for Early Career Researcher” on 27th July, 2018.
