Prof. Wang and Dr. Xie attended the 2018 International Symposium on Advancement and Prospect of Catalysis Science & Technology in Australia
ACS Catalysis supports an International Symposium focusing on Advancement and Prospect of Catalysis Science & Technology on 25-27 July 2018 at the University of Sydney. The scope of the symposium includes catalytic materials, catalyst characterizations, catalysis for energy and environment, green chemistry and process, and photo/electro-catalysis.
Prof. Ye Wang and Dr. Shunji Xie attended this symposium with other 3 participants from Xiamen University. Prof. Wang was invited to attend a plenary discussion on the prospect of catalysis research and give a keynote lecture with a theme of "Bifunctional catalysis for direct transformation of syngas and carbon dioxide into lower olefins and aromatics". Dr. Xie gave an oral presentation on “Visible light-driven C−H activation and C−C coupling of methanol into ethylene glycol”.
