On January 20, 2023, the Chinese Laser Press announced the first batch of members for the third Youth Editorial Board, and Professor Wang Sheng was selected as a member of the first Youth Editorial Board for Photonics Insights.

  The Youth Editorial Board of the Chinese Laser Press (hereinafter referred to as the Youth Editorial Board) was established in August 2017 and has since attracted more than 200 outstanding young scientists. Since its inception, the Youth Editorial Board has united the power of young optical scientists, injecting strong momentum into the development of optics in China. The board has created the largest exclusive communication platform for young optical scientists in the country—the Optical Young Scientist Forum, which is one of the high-quality and high-level academic events in the field of optics in China.

  Professor Wang Sheng's successful selection not only highlights his significant contributions to the fields of optics and photonics but also underscores his influence in the international academic community. As a member of the Youth Editorial Board for Photonics Insights, Professor Wang Sheng will be dedicated to promoting the dissemination and development of high-level academic research in optics while providing more opportunities for collaboration and exchange among young scholars.
