We are a chemical biology research team in the Department of Chemistry, City University of Hong Kong (ranked as Asia’s top 18 universities in 2021). Our research focuses on applying synthetic chemistry tools to address biological problems. We are collaborating with Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Health, Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CRMH) to recruit Postdoctoral Fellows (salary: HK$32,000/month) in synthetic chemistry or bioorganic chemistry area.

We cordially welcome highly motivated researchers to apply. Requirements are as follows

(1) Graduate from Chinese Academy of Sciences or an accredited university in Hong Kong or recent graduate from a top 100 international university (QS, ARWU, or THE ranking system). If these requirements are not met, the applicant’s graduate subjects (natural sciences, life science and medicine, engineering and technology) should be ranked top 100 in the above ranking systems.

(2) Graduated in the organic chemistry related field. Applicants with experience in chemical biology or fluorescent probe design are preferred.

(3) Solid theoretical background in organic synthesis. Good at synthetic route design, molecular synthesis, compound separation and purification, and chemical structure analysis.
