I was born and raised in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. As my family moved to Kerala, India, I did my schooling in my hometown. After completing high school I realized my passion in chemistry and pursued my undergraduate program in chemistry at University of Calicut, Kerala, India. Moving forward with my career I joined for post graduation program at Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu, India. Where I set my goal 'research career in chemistry'. After graduation I did Master of Philosophy program in Department of Inorganic Chemistry, University of Madras, Chennai, India. Despite my enthusiasm for research career I joined for Ph.D. program under the guidance of Professor Shuo Shi in the field of bio-inorganic chemistry at School of Chemical Science and Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai. My research interest mainly focused in developing and designing molecular devices based on DNA with a combination of quantum dots and nanomaterials, and their application in fluorescence sensors.
