Professor Qin Chuanguang graduated from Chemistry Department of Central China Normal University in 1987 with a bachelor of science degree. In 1990, he graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Suzhou University with a master's degree in organic chemistry. In 2001, he graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a doctor's degree in biomedical engineering. From 1990 to 2005, he served as assistant professor, lecturer and associate professor in Hubei University of Technology, and was promoted to Professor and master supervisor in 2002. 1992-1993 visiting scholar at the University of Galaz, Romania. From 2002 to 2005, he worked as a postdoctoral student in the Department of Chemistry of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Department of Chemistry of Ohio State University. In 2005, he returned to China and has been a professor and doctoral supervisor of Northwestern Polytechnic University. In 2008, he was a guest professor in the research group of M. Bradley, Professor of the joint chemical research center of the University of Edinburgh and the University of St. Andrews. In 2011, he was appointed by the state to be a visiting professor in the research group of Professor A.G. Wolley, Department of Chemistry, University of Toronto, Canada. In 2018, he successively went to the Chemistry Department of Oxford University in the UK and the P.S. Baran's research group of the Department of Chemistry of Scripps Institute in the United States as a guest researcher for cooperative research. It is mainly engaged in the research of chemical synthesis, separation analysis methodology and biomedical activity function of organic drugs and functional materials. He hold general programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Scientific Research Fund for Returned Overseas Students of Ministry of Personnel of China, Key Programs of Shaanxi Natural Science Basic Research Program, Basic Research Fund Projects of Northwest Polytechnic University, etc. J. Chem., and more than 60 papers have been published in the domestic core journals, and many authorized Chinese invention patents have been obtained. At present, he is a member of Chinese chemical society, Chinese Pharmaceutical Society, Chinese society of Biochemistry and molecular biology and Chinese society of microbiology. Served as peer review expert of NSFC, peer review expert of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, science and technology award review expert of Ministry of education, vice chairman of pharmaceutical chemistry Professional Committee of Shaanxi Pharmaceutical Association, and judge of Shaanxi innovation and entrepreneurship competition.
