他取得了南京航空航天大学的材料科学与工程学士学位，之后他获得了香港浸会大学分析化学理学硕士学位，目前他作为香港科技大学IIP-AMAT的一位第四年的博士生，在香港科技大学广州校区进行学习。

他的兴趣是利用分子动力学模拟研究聚合物材料的物理性质，包括聚电解质中的离子传输、聚合物超薄膜的物理机制等。
