Dr Imtiaz Ahmad received a PhD from the Department of Chemistry University of Liverpool, United Kingdom and was engaged in research at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of Zhengzhou University, China as a postdoc research associate. He is also involved in research at the department of chemistry, Fatimah Jinnah Woman University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan as an Assistant professor. He is working on designing the surface organic ligand of the smart, fluorescent materials including quantum dots, nanoclusters, and their entrapment in MOF, COF, and Polymer matrix, for in-vive or in vitro measurement of bio-chemicals markers and to develop optical devices. He has published several papers in international prestigious journals; Sensors & Actuator B, ACS AMI, Advanced Optical Materials.He also produced two international patents with WIFO-PTC and has developed QDs-Based Biosensors. Currently, he won a project with Prof. Abohashra as CO-PI of 100k Riyal from the Ministry of Education & king Khalid University SA.
