On November 17, 2023, the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Forestry Society held a general meeting in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, and Dr. Liuyin Ma, the head of the research group, was elected as a member of the new Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Forestry Society. After the meeting, Dr. Liuyin Ma also participated in the 15th China Forestry Youth Academic Conference, participated in the discussion in the forest tree genetics and breeding sub-venue, and made suggestions on how young talents can promote the development of forestry in China.
