On August 26, 2022, after receiving an email notification from Forestry Research , Dr. Liuyin Ma, the leader of the research group, was successfully selected as the first Early Career Editorial Board Member of Forestry Research for a two-year term starting in September 2022.

It is reported that "Forestry Research" is an all-English journal positioning a high starting point for basic research on forest trees, bringing together a group of well-known experts and scholars in the field of basic research of forest trees, and the ECEB members will deeply participate in the special issue organization of the journal, serve as peer reviewers, and expand the influence of the journal.
