Dr.  Cesar Augusto Valades-Cruz visited our lab today and shared with us his work about imaging processing and microscopy. Mingyang presented her work about animal poise tracking using AI. Dr. Li prospects the importance of using AI to solve tasks that are otherwise challenging in the traditional framework, including segmentation problem in 3D tumor cell cluster and reconstruction problem of zebrafish neuron network.

Dr. Cesar Augusto Valades-Cruz (https://cessvala.github.io/) is currently a senior research fellow in the Institute of Hydrophysics, Chinese Academy of Science. His expertise involves developing image processing and quantification methods for single-particle tracking.
