Dr. Xianyuan Xiang received her PhD degree in Neuroscience from University of Munich (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München). Her supervisor for the PhD and postdoctoral study was Prof. Christian Haass, who is a world leading scientist in the research field of Alzheimer’s disease, member of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. 

Dr. Xiang now is an Associate investigator in the Kettenmann Lab. She focuses on the role of microglia in Alzheimer’s disease and glioma.
