Ma Long received his undergraduate and master degree from the College of Life Science and Technology of Huazhong Agricultural University and his PhD degree from the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IBP, CAS) in 2023, where he continued his postdoctoral research, with a focus on exploring the functionality and applications of natural nanozymes. His PhD work was published in Nature Communications, which was selected as a highlight paper in the journal's "Materials Science and Chemistry" area and one of the 50 most groundbreaking and influential papers in the field in recent times. He was awarded the Outstanding Postdoctoral Excellence Award (2024), the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund (2024), the 76th Cohort of China Postdoctoral Science Fund (2024), and the State Sponsored Postdoctoral Program (C Tranche) (2024).
