KhanUsman 副教授    

Dr. Usman is currently an associate Professor at Department of material science and technology, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. He did his postdoc from Low Dimensional Materials and Devices (LDMD), at Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), Tsinghua University. Dr. Usman Khan has obtained his M.Phil. degree from University of the Punjab, Lahore during 2012 and Ph.D. degree from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Institute of Physics) in 2017. Then he carried out post-doc research at Low Dimensional Materials and Devices (LDMD), at Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), Tsinghua University (Shenzhen, 2017-2020), working on the growth of Two-Dimensional (2D) materials (scalability, stability and large size growth). He has more than 45 publications with citation over 700, including publications as first author/co-first author in Nature Communications, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, Nanoscale, Applied Physics Letters, Physical Review B, Advanced Electronic Materials, and has 1 patent, etc.

1.  Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) growth of nanosheets, and nanorods.

2.  Growth of 2D materials, including MoS2, WS2, Bi2O2Se, Graphene, h-BN etc.

3.  Growth of 1D nanowires, nanotubes, core-shell nanostructures.

4.  Growth of Ferrite nanoparticles (Soft and Hard ferrites).
