课题组长陈坚，教授，江苏省特聘教授，江苏大学金山青年特聘教授。目前担任Plant Physiology的Asssitant Features Editor, Frontiers in Plant Science及Frontiers in Microbiology的guest editor。陈坚课题组以水稻、拟南芥为主要研究对象，研究水稻或拟南芥对环境包括生物及非生物胁迫的适应机制。在Trends in Plant Science, Trends in Microbiology, Trends in Genetics, Molecular Plant, Plant Physiology, Plant Cell and Enviroment, Journal of Experimental Botany等杂志发表多篇论文。
